Q: When placing an order, did you see an error window that says:
A run-time error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line xx. Error Expected ")"
A: Just reply "No" every time you see this error. The error is caused by an incompatibility between your old web browser and PayPal, however testing has shown that by replying "No" every time you see it will enable you to successfully place an order through PayPal.
PayPal recommends that if you do receive this error message, you upgrade your browser from whatever version it is to the current version of that browser.

Q: How can I order and pay for my e-books?
A: Order by clicking one or more Add to Cart buttons above and follow the PayPal instructions. If you close the Shopping Cart window by mistake you can re-open it by pressing the big VIEW CART button.
You can make payment using Paypal or Credit/Debit Card. Alternatively, you can post your order and cheque to: E-book Sales, 69 Verulam Road, Greenford UB6 9RL United Kingdom.
Q: Can I "download" my e-book immediately after paying?
A: This facility is not currently available. Whatever payment method you use, you will receive the e-book attached to an email within 24 hours of payment being received by us.
Q: How do I read e-books?
A: You can read e-books (which are Adobe Acrobat files, also known as .pdf files) by displaying them on your computer screen using free-of-charge software called Acrobat Reader. You can also print e-books onto A4 paper, or you can do some of each.
Q: Where do I get a free copy of Acrobat Reader software?
A: You can get this from the adobe.com website.
Q: What do I do if the book doesn't arrive in my email inbox within 24 hours?
A: Please email me with the details and I will respond as soon as possible.
Q: Do the e-books contain photos?
A: No, the e-books currently don't contain photos but where they exist you can see them in the Photo Galleries on the relevant page of the Book List.
Q: What about copyright? Can I pass on paper or software copies of your e-books to someone else.
A: E-books should be treated the same way as paper books. You can give your own copy to someone else as a gift but you must delete the .pdf file/s I sent you and any paper or software copies you made first. If you want to have or give away multiple copies on an e-book you should order and pay for the same number of e-books. Please note, I don't keep any of the money from sales of any of my e-books - I pass it all on to the charity Oasis India at oasisindia.org.
Q: Can I pay in another currency?
A: Complete the PayPal box as it stands - for minimum donation of £5.00 sterling - and it will be paid out of your account in your own currency. For up-to-date exchange rates, search for Currency Converter on the internet.
